武汉钰龙金融广场
Yulong Financial Centre is strategically located along Jianshe Avenue – the equivalent of Wall Street in Wuhan. It is a 55-storey mixed-use development comprising a luxury condominium development above an office tower, and a commercial podium with retail and dining facilities. The challenge was to integrate the various components within the tight constraints of the site, and simultaneously create an iconic landmark along Jianshe Avenue. The project was conceptualised as a big ‘city living room’ that would become a place for rest and relaxation along the busy commercial district. The commercial podium is home to many restaurants, hence catering to the needs of office workers in the region. Its design incorporates a four-storey double-skin glass façade with sun-shading devices, bringing transparency to the mall. Coupled with LED lights integrated into the facade, the development resembles a sparkling gemstone at night. The landscaping for the public plaza is extended into the urban ‘city living room’, further blurring the boundaries between inside and outside. The office tower is composed to echo the subtle curve of the road and podium façade in the same way, alluding to the concept of a mountain peak rising from the water. A patterned treatment visually breaks up the east and west facades, culminating at the crown of the tower. Lit at night, the crown becomes a giant shining beacon in the city. The condominium boasts a generous sky lobby surrounded by a beautiful sky garden, offering panoramic views of the city. Other facilities include an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium, entertainment rooms and a sky café, which are located in the clubhouse below the sky lobby. |
